| T-2C Buckeye #156719, VT-9 1/72 Scale Matchbox |
| Another aircraft Robert Dwyer commissioned me to do. T-2C in the markings of the aircraft he flew during flight training. Not bad for a Matchbox kit but it did have a number of sink holes that had to be filled on the wings/flaps. Finished with Model Master enamels. All markings, except the Stars & Bars and intake warnings, for the aircraft as well as the stand I drew with Corel Draw 9 and printed with my Alps printer. The stand was stained, finished with Minwax Polycrylic clear gloss, then badge was applied then several coats of Minwax and then polished. My usual technique. Also, my usual method to strengthen the fuselage area where the acrylic rods slide into the exhaust area. |
